I know we all have faults, but mine seem to really stand out. I sure needed the verses Romans 5:1-5 lately which says:
1 Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith,we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Also through Him, we have obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand,and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also rejoice in our afflictions,because we know that affliction produces endurance,4 endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. 5 This hope does not disappoint, because God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Faith is a hard subject for me...just what does it mean to have faith? I have faith that the car heading at least 55 mph towards me will stay on the right side of the line...I have faith that the chair will hold me when I sit (even though that mught be a little presumptious lately)....but these are all things that CAN and MAY fail. God CANNOT fail!! That is BEYOND ME! I don't get that! I should have the most faith in him...I don't! Why not?
Matthew 17:20
He replied, "Because your faith is much too small. What I'm about to tell you is true. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, it is enough. You can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there.' And it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
Never said I was going to answer my own questions. If I knew the answers I would. I just try to answer with a scripture the best I can!
